V. Shankar Speaks at Africa Singapore Business Forum 2016

Returning for the fourth year, Africa Singapore Business Forum is the premier business platform for exchanging business insights and promoting trade and investment linkages between Africa and Singapore.

An event by IE Singapore, the government agency driving Singapore’s external economy, Africa Singapore Business Forum is an invaluable platform for business leaders and governments in both regions to network and deepen partnerships. To date, ASBF has brought together 2,000 high level business leaders and government officials from 30 countries.

Over the years, ASBF has also become the focal point for Africa-centric initiatives. This year, several co-located events including a high-level meeting for African foreign ministers, as well as seminars covering private equity and technology in Africa, will be held. It will address critical issues and identify opportunities for the strategic growth of both regions through presentations, panel discussions, and numerous networking opportunities.

Keynote panelists included Mr. Tharman Shanmugratnam, Deputy Prime Minister & Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies in Singapore, and Mr. Bonang Mohale, Chairman & Vice President of Shell Downstream South Africa (Pty) Limited.  Mr. V. Shankar, CEO & Partner at Gateway Partners, was the keynote panel moderator.
